The trees are gradually changing over from the vibrant spring green to the darker green of summer. We are supposed to get an inch of rain tomorrow which makes it the perfect day to stay inside and organize prints for the <a href="http://www.smithislandartleague.com/">Memorial Day Art Show</a> on Bald Head Island. I participated over Thanksgiving and it was a very rainy weekend. I'm hoping with some nice weather the turnout is good and I am able to sell some prints! This picture was taken from about 6,000 feet. I couldn't believe they let our little plane fly right over the city. Every time I go it is a different experience and I never know how the pictures will come out. I spend the flight with my head sticking out the window shooting pictures. Composition and framing are secondary. One of the most exciting parts is getting back on the ground to see what I've got! I am still playing with exposure, lighting and lenses to get the right recipe.
